Inspired by a Legacy of Service
Born on April 22, 1998, Boyd grew up closely observing the tireless work and dedication of his father, the late Hon. Ong’ondo Were, a revered figure in the Kasipul community. The values of integrity, community service, and leadership instilled in him from a young age have now become the pillars of his political vision.

Academic and Professional Foundations
Boyd’s journey in public and economic service began with a solid academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Cooperative University of Kenya, where he cultivated a strong understanding of financial systems and governance. Currently, he is advancing his education with a Master’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Finance and Investment, at KCA University.
In 2021, Boyd joined the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), contributing to the country’s fiscal development. His tenure at KRA sharpened his skills in taxation and public finance, equipping him with the critical tools needed to serve in legislative and governance roles effectively.
