The 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results are set to be released today, January 9, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba will announce the results at New Mitihani House in South C, Nairobi.

The 2024 KCSE exams took place in 10,755 centres, with a record-high of 965,501 candidates sitting the exams, an increase from 903,138 in 2023.

Exam marking was completed on December 13, 2024, following substantial efforts by examiners throughout 35 designated marking locations.

The KCSE tests were announced just a day after the Kenya National Examination Council released the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports.

Knec recommended schools to use the CBA portal to access the 2024 KPSEA learner-specific reports.

KPSEA was administered between October 28 and November 1, with 1,303,913 Grade 6 students in Kenya taking the exam.

Mathematics, English, Integrated Science, Kiswahili, Creative Arts, and Social Studies were among the topics covered in the tests.

All 1,303,913 KPSEA applicants who took the exam in 35,573 centers around the country will move on to Grade 7, which is still held at their elementary schools.
