She worked with leading Kenyan TV stations—NTV and KTN—for over nine years, where her communication prowess and on-screen charisma made her a household name. It was during this period that she honed the public engagement and leadership skills that would later define her executive journey.

Strategic Roles with Impact
Her transition from media to leadership saw her take up multiple high-level roles in both the public and private sectors.
As the CEO of the National Council of NGOs Kenya for the past 11 years, Kevinnah has skillfully navigated policy, advocacy, and governance, ensuring that the voice of civil society remains influential in national development agendas.

Additionally, as Director of the Pokot Heritage Foundation, she has championed environmental conservation, education, and the preservation of indigenous culture in marginalized communities.

Kevinnah’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. She was the Peace Award Winner of the East African Community Peace Pact in 2022, and in 2023, she was recognized with the Pacesetters Award (Eastern Africa Chapter) in the Food and Honey Processing category—where her company Ninia Honey was named Best Overall. These accolades highlight both her commitment to peace and her success as a social entrepreneur.
Empowering Women, One Step at a Time
A fierce advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment, Kevinnah is actively involved with the Africa Women Leadership Institute (AWLI) and the Centre for Multi-Party Democracy-Kenya.
