According to Hussein he was shocked that Morara would lie on National TV that the President called him. has termed claims by lawyer Morara Kebaso that President William Ruto called him as ridiculous.

According to Hussein he was shocked that Morara would lie on National TV that the President called him.

He insisted that there was no such thing except for Morara’s imaginations.

“I am shocked at what Morara is saying. I wonder why he would lie on national TV that the President called him. It’s ridiculous that I have to respond to this but let me do it because you Jeff let it happen on TV. For the record, such a call never happened, it’s a statement of his imagination,” Hussein said.

Morara has been leading an anti-government campaign by inspecting all ongoing and stalled projects launched by the government.

He claimed President Ruto called him and even offered him a job but he turned it down.

The lawyer who is leading an anti-government onslaught, however, refused to make public details of their discussions, except that he was offered a job but declined to take it.

He also noted that he spoke to the President respectfully.

“Initially I had calls from people around the President. Then eventually I got a call from the President. I spoke to him very respectfully because he is our President and he has been given that mandate by the people. Whatever I was offered I refused, I was offered a state position. Serikali ni kubwa,” Morara said.

Government spokesman Isaac Mwaura would later on deny having knowledge any such call between Ruto and Morara.

The young lawyer has maintained his stance that he spoke to Ruto.
