South African DJ and Dancer Uncle Waffles has broken her silence after her Kenyan concert was rocked with chaos and teargas.

In a statement shared via her socials, Waffles blamed the organizers of the show for all the bad things that happened at her concert.

She went on to reveal that her team was also mishandled during the event which was also dominated by bad sound.

“Hey my Kenyan Baes

“I’m extremely disappointed and shattered by the way the for the love of Amapiano

Handled this event which was something I have been looking forward to for a while, from sound issues even before my performance to my team being mishandled, this wasn’t something I expected at all,” Uncle Waffles said.

The talented DJ added that she was disappointed in how her fans were handled at the event.

“What has disappointed me most though is how my Kenyan supporters were treated by the organisers and security at the event people were pushed around, mishandled and treated with the least amount of care and that is something i will not stand for.

The safety and wellbeing of people who come out to support me and this genre is my top priority, and I could not play my set any longer while people were visibly uncomfortable and at risk of getting hurt,” she added.

Uncle Waffles added;  “To the event organisers, you have not only disappointed me but you have also let down the 10,000+ people who came out in support of this event.

“I urge you to do better if you have any desire to continue putting events together in the future.

She signed off her statement with a promise that she would be in Kenya soon to make it up to her fans who were equally disappointed at the concern.

“Kenya I hope to see you again soon with a much better outcome. I love you guys sm! Uuncle waffles,”  she said.

Uncle Waffles’s Amapiano Concert was rocked with chaos to the point that police used teargas on fans.
