Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum in partnership with the Hungarian Embassy proudly launched Hungarian Week, an extraordinary celebration of Hungary’s rich culinary heritage and vibrant culture.

The six-day long festivities kicked off with an exclusive cocktail event, bringing together an eclectic mix of VIP guests, Hungarian expatriates, and enthusiastic food and culture lovers eager to experience an authentic taste of Hungary.

The opening cocktail evening was a grand affair featuring a carefully curated selection of traditional Hungarian dishes, premium wines, and expertly crafted cocktails inspired by Hungarian flavors.

The event provided an immersive experience, setting the perfect tone for the week ahead. Guests enjoyed an elegant evening of cultural exchange, and networking while getting a preview of the delectable dishes to be served throughout Hungarian Week.

As part of the launch, Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum unveiled a series of specially curated events designed to showcase Hungary’s rich gastronomic traditions:

  • Wine Pairing Set Menus: A refined dining experience featuring a multi-course meal expertly paired with exquisite Hungarian wines, offering guests an opportunity to savor the complex flavors of Hungary’s finest vintages.
  • Exclusive À La Carte Menu: A dedicated Hungarian menu featuring iconic dishes such as Goulash, Chicken Paprikash, and Dobos Torte, available throughout the week at the hotel’s restaurant.
  • Interactive Hungarian Cooking Class: A hands-on experience led by Chef Mark Medgyesi from Hungary and Radisson’s own Chef Martin Gituma, teaching guests how to prepare authentic Hungarian dishes while sharing insights into the country’s culinary history and techniques.
  • Hungarian Brunch: A grand weekend finale featuring a lavish spread of Hungarian-inspired breakfast and lunch delicacies, complemented by live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
