Award-winning singer and WCB President Naseeb Abdul Juma aka Diamond Platnumz has become the first Sub-Saharan African artist with more than 9.23 million YouTube subscribers.

Chibu Dangote has dominated the music landscape for the past 14 years, starting his professional career in 2010.

The singer has risen to the top of Sub-Saharan Africa’s ten most popular YouTube performers. He holds the title of the Sub-saharan artiste with the most YouTube subscribers.

Platnumz has amassed a sizable social media following over the years, which is currently generating millions of dollars in revenue.

Since joining the streaming platform on June 12, 2011, the WCB President has accumulated over 9.23 million subscribers to his channel.

Diamond Platnumz is King as far as YouTube Subscribers are concerned in the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa.

He leads the pack with at least 9.23 million subscribers after uploading over 1, 000 videos on his channel.

He also accumulated over 2.6 billion views and counting.

Rayvanny – 5.18 million subscribers

Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa (born August 22, 1993), best known by his stage name Rayvanny, is a Tanzanian singer, composer, and the CEO of the record label NEXT LEVEL MUSIC.

Rayvanny rose to prominence after releasing his debut single “Kwetu,” which exposed him to the globe. Later, he recorded his hit single “Tetema” with Diamond Platnumz, which topped several charts across the world.

Rayvanny was named one of MTV Base’s “Acts To Look Out For” in 2017, and she also won Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist at the BET Awards.

He has over 5.18 million subscribers and over 1.1 Billion views on his channel.

Burna Boy – 4.94 million subscribers

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has 4.94 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. H joined the streaming platform on January 13, 2028. He also has over 2.9 Billion views on his YouTube channel.

Harmonize – 4.65 million subscribers

Konde Music Worldwide CEO Harmonize has accumulated over 4.65 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

He joined the platform on October 19, 2015, after being signed by Diamond Platnumz to WCB Waafi.

Konde Boy is a Tanzania singer, songwriter, and Entrepreneur.

Fally Ipupa – 4.35 million subscribers

Congolese Superstar Fally Ipupa has over 4.35 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

He joined the streaming platform in January 12, 2007. He has over 1.8 billion views on his channel.

Davido – 4.08 million subscribers

David Adeleke aka Davido is another Nigerian singer on the list with over 4.08 million Subscribers.

Davido joined the streaming platform on  November 22, 2018, and so far he has over 1.7 billion views.

CKay – 4.05 million subscribers

Ckay is an award-winning Nigerian singer and Songwriter. He makes it to the list with 4.05 million subscribers.

He combines war emotions with African rhythms to create a sound he calls ‘emo afrobeat’.

CKay ran away from his parents’ house in Lagos Nigeria at the age of 18 because they could not agree with his music choice.

Nigerian singer Mr Flavour has over 3.40 million subscribers on his YouTube channel which was opened on June 6, 2011.

Flavour is hailed as the King of modern highlife music. He is a songwriter and musician.

Zuchu – 3.38 million subscribers

Number 9 is the one and only Zuchu from WCB Wasafi.

Zuchu was signed by Diamond in 2020 and so far she is the fastest growing musician in Africa.

She has over 691K views on her channel.

Award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid has over 3.08 million subscribers on his YouTube channel that was launched on September 20, 2014.

He has over 2.02 billion views on his channel.
