All data is gathered from open sources such as Reuters, Forbes, and Instagram.

Remy Ma is the rapper who has spent the most time in prison, serving six years for assault, unlawful weapon possession, and attempted coercion.

She was released in 2014 and has since amassed a sizable popularity, with 10.7 million Instagram followers. Compared to the other rappers on the list, she has a lower net worth of $4 million.

Suge Knight is second in the list of rappers who have served the most time in prison, with a comparable six-year sentence.

Suge Knight was charged with voluntary manslaughter and is currently in prison, serving a total of 28 years.

He has slightly more than 203,000 Instagram followers, which is significantly fewer than Remy Ma’s.

Gucci Mane is third, spending two years for possessing a handgun.
