Kiss FM breakfast show presenters Kerry Martin and Kwambox have announced that they will be exiting the Radio Africa Group-owned Radio Station on Wednesday, April 30.
The Breakfast duo mentioned that April 30th will be their last day at the Station.
Stepping into the new You requires letting go of the old you! Tomorrow is the end of a very significant chapter in my life! For 13 years radio has been my identity! Its time for change!
Tomorrow, I will host my last show on Kiss FM,” Kwambox said.

On the other hand, Kerry Martin said, “As I hang up the mic tomorrow, I do it with a full heart.
Grateful. Humbled. Ready. It’s been 11 years on radio. From my first show on Homeboyz Radio in 2014 to wrapping up Kenya’s biggest breakfast show on Kiss 100, this journey has been nothing short of a blessing.”
The pair has announced their exit less than a week after Radio Africa fired 27 members of staff in a bid to reduce operational costs, as the media company wades through tough economic times.
It, however remains unclear if the two are among the 27 staff affected by the ongoing restructuring at Radio Africa.

A letter dated Friday, April 25, 2025, from Martin Khafafa the Group CEO, said last week’s staff layoff was to ensure sustainability and to aid an ongoing restructuring intended to stabilize the company for future growth.
“This was the most challenging moment in our journey. These individuals have been part of our team for many years, some for over 20 years,” part of the internal memo said.
This recent staff layoff at Radio Africa is part of an ongoing restructuring that the company announced in July 2024, a year after it shut down Kiss TV.
Radio Africa Group is home to multiple media stations and platforms, including Classic FM, The Star newspaper, Kiss FM, Homeboyz Radio, Radio Jambo, Gukena FM, Mpasho, and East FM.
