Koku Lwanga Accuses Estranged Husband Daddie Marto of Infidelity and Physical Abuse

Actress and content creator Koku Lwanga has come forward with deeply disturbing allegations against her estranged husband, actor and media personality Martin Githinji, popularly known as Daddie Marto.

In a series of emotional and revealing Instagram Stories, Koku accused Marto of cheating on her and subjecting her to physical abuse during their marriage. The couple, who have been together for over a decade and share three children, are now separated.

Koku claimed that the abuse reached a climax recently when she confronted Marto at what she described as his “office”—a two-bedroom apartment in the same compound but a different block from where the family used to live. According to her, Marto has been living separately since their separation and has been entertaining another woman there.

“It’s quite painful you can devote your life, build with a man, make money and give it all to him to organize for the family… and one day he will stand tall and tell you he owes you nothing,” Koku wrote.

“He will fold his hands into a fist and hit your head multiple times, hit your neck and back till swollen, and kick you while laying down till a neighbor screams at him to stop. Life is just something, aki.”

She continued by expressing her heartbreak and betrayal, describing how her trust and dedication had been met with violence and disregard.

“@daddiemarto I did not deserve that. You bringing another woman in my presence… I did not deserve you throwing blows and kicks to my head, neck, and back while I lay on the ground in fetal position simply because I came to confront you,”.

In the raw and unfiltered posts, Koku painted a picture of emotional and physical trauma, saying she was “seconds away” from the room where her children play when Marto allegedly brought in another woman.

“You owe me dignity, respect and consideration during this delicate period we are in, if not for the 10 years we built, for the simple fact that I and the children were seconds away from the place you brought another woman to f***,” she said. “The drama I caused tonight, that wasn’t anger or rage, that was pain. Pain from the realization I have been sleeping with the enemy.”

Koku also directed some words toward the unidentified woman allegedly involved with Marto, pleading that she be treated with more compassion and honesty than she was.

“I hope you don’t hit her… I hope you will not string her along for years having checked out and not being honest about your feelings,” she wrote, calling on the woman to “own her sh**” and stop hiding.

In a final heartbreaking revelation, Koku described the physical impact of the alleged abuse:

“You hit my head so hard I’m actually seeing stars. I deserved some self-control. I deserved some holding back… Maybe a little dignity. Some self-respect.”

As of now, Daddie Marto has not responded to the fresh wave of allegations, though he had earlier released a public statement denying any wrongdoing and insisting that matters concerning their marriage and family were being handled privately.

The allegations have sparked widespread attention on social media, with fans and fellow creators expressing shock and concern over the claims. Neither party has yet taken any legal steps publicly, but the situation remains highly sensitive and developing.
