A model spotted with President Ruto’s son, George Ruto, has broken her silence after facing intense online bullying over a recent photo taken in Bali, Indonesia.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account, the model, while firmly denying any romantic association with George, clarified the context behind the photo.
“Alexender and I recently met George randomly here in Bali. Him being the President’s son, I asked for a picture. George was very kind, humble and simple guy who wears Crocs… I AM NOT DATING EITHER OF THESE GENTLEMEN!” she says.
She further explained that the moment was significant to her because, coming from humble beginnings, meeting the President’s son and being in Bali at all felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience she wanted to share with her loved ones.
Instead, the photo attracted cyberbullying, which, she reveals, has left her devastated.
“I was bullied for taking a picture with George. I felt rejected and resented by my own people… It cost me mentally, emotionally, and even financially because I am doing therapy which isn’t cheap,” she says.
In a clapback to trolls who mocked her appearance, she says, “My forehead, bones and small neck make me look stunning! I respect all your opinions about my appearance, but I’m dead gorgeous with a very nice a$$ btw!”

Here is her Full Statement
Alexender and I recently met George Randomly here in Bali. Him being the President’s son I asked for a picture. George was very kind, humble and simple guy who wears crocs. I was not able to speak for myself when the picture of us was going around but I AM NOT DATING EITHER OF THESE GENTLEMEN!
The picture of me and George means a lot to me. Growing up as I did you could never imagine meeting a President’s son or even be in Bali. It’s a moment I wanted to share with my family and friends. I was bullied for taking a picture with George. I felt rejected and resented by my own people. I would want you to know that bullying comes with a lot of damages. It coasted me mentally, emotionally and even financially because I am doing therapy which isn’t cheap.
My FOREHEAD,BONES AND SMALL NECK makes me look stunning! I Respect all your opinions about my appearance but I’M DEAD GORGEOUS with a very nice ass btw!
To my dear Kenyans if you ever see this;
I love my country and understand what most of you are going through. I grew up poor… my Dad was a watchman and Mom sold chang’aa. I know what struggle is for I struggled most days. I lacked almost everything growing up. WE MUST NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS RIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY. ANY LEADER WHO DOESN’T DO RIGHT BY US MUST GO! #oneterm
Sending my love, Sheila Mutundi,”.
