American streamer and YouTuber iShowSpeed has once again proven his global influence after gaining over 350,000 new subscribers during his electrifying stay in Nairobi, Kenya, making the country one of the biggest highlights of his ongoing African tour.

Branded by fans as “Kenya No.1”, iShowSpeed’s Kenya livestream pushed his YouTube channel past the 48 million subscribers milestone, with the streamer openly acknowledging Kenya as the destination that showed him the most love during the tour.

iShowSpeed kicked off his Kenyan adventure with a visit to Upper Hill School, where he immersed himself in local culture by playing rugby and interacting with students. The visit also saw him meet celebrated Kenyan javelin champion Julius Yego, further cementing the moment as one of the standout experiences of the trip.

His journey continued to Kibandaski, where he sampled authentic Kenyan cuisine. Fans were treated to entertaining moments as he learned how to cook ugali and chapati, while also tasting nyama choma, embracing the country’s rich food culture with excitement and humor.

The streamer later visited Nairobi National Park, a rare wildlife reserve located within a capital city. During the visit, he was given a unique honour — the chance to name a rhino. Staying true to his football roots, he named it “Rhinaldo,” a creative blend of Rhino and Ronaldo, a moment that quickly went viral online.

For lunch, iShowSpeed headed to the iconic Carnivore Restaurant before hopping onto a colourful Nganya headed to Mukuru Affordable Housing, where he played basketball with locals and met popular content creator Gen Z Goliath, drawing massive cheers from residents.

His Nairobi tour continued through the CBD via the expressway, with a brief stop at Uhuru Park, before making his way to KICC, where a huge crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of the global internet sensation. Following a short interaction with fans, iShowSpeed boarded a helicopter for an aerial tour of Nairobi.

It was while soaring above the city that he officially hit 48 million subscribers live on stream, sending fans into celebration both online and on the ground. By the time of publishing, the livestream had amassed over 9 million views, making it the most-watched video of his African tour so far.

iShowSpeed’s Kenyan visit not only showcased the country’s culture, energy, and hospitality but also reinforced Kenya’s growing influence in the global digital and content creation space.
