The Chief Officer for Environment in Nairobi County, Geoffrey Mosiria, has responded after an old throwback photo of him and his wife resurfaced online and sparked conversations.

The picture, which quickly went viral on social media, showed a much younger Mosiria during his university days alongside his wife and her friend.

Many netizens speculated about the context of the image, prompting the county boss to issue a light-hearted yet thoughtful clarification.

“I’ve seen this photo trending online, and I wish to clarify yes, that’s me back in campus with my wife and her friend, when we were dating over 11 years ago,” Mosiria wrote. “Today, by God’s grace, we are still walking this journey together, stronger than ever.”

In his statement, Mosiria used the moment to share some words of wisdom with the youth about relationships and marriage. He emphasized that true companionship goes beyond appearances and societal pressure.

“And yes, back then I was still waiting for ndavu to come through 😅,” he joked, leaving many amused.
