Eric Omondi comes to the rescue of his former manager living on the streets

Comedian Eric Omondi has come to the rescue of his former logistics manager Isindu who is currently battling mental health related illness.

On Monday, Omondi mentioned that he had visited Isindu in his humble aboard but failed on convincing him to start his rehab journey.

“Isindu worked in my team as a logistics manager from 2011 to 2017…Men’s Mental health and Depression is a universal Pandemic.

“Men suffer alot in silence. But if Men are the head of Families and if Men are to lead society then we must start having this conversations otherwise we live in a broken Society.

Omondi revealed that Isindu has been battling with substance abuse and that’s why he is in a sorry state as per his viral video.

“Isindu is not okay. Life has not been kind to him. From marital problems to shattered dreams (By the way the song playing in the background is “Ubabi” by Isindu) and loosing his Mother, the only family he was left with. I spent the whole of Yesterday and Night with him and the sad part is that he has not yet fully accepted that he needs help but atleast we have began the Journey, the Conversation.

“I was to take him to rehab today but we couldn’t agree😢😢😢. In just one night i watched him loose his mind thrice just because we denied him access to his substances. Isindu will be Okay. We will fight for him, we will fight with him. HE WILL WIN because there is no other Option. His Son need him. His wife needs him. We need him,” Eric Omondi shared.
