Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has finally addressed his alleged fallout with Willy Paul during the recently concluded Furaha City Festival.
In a post seen by Famous Media, Platnumz accused Pozze of trying to chase clout with his name during the festival.
He alleged that Willy Paul has always created unfounded beef with him and on Saturday he used to Festival to create a buzz for himself.
The WCB President added that Pozze wanted to trend using his name and that is why he caused drama.
“Siwezi kusema Waandaaji walipatia kila jambo, ila Kiukweli kwenye show ya jana Organizers hawakuweka Ubaguzi kwa Wasanii kwa Kenya Kabisa…Kina @khaligraph_jones na Wasanii mbalimbali walifanya Show zao vizuri sana, na Waliua sana.
“Uhalisia ni Kwamba kijana alikua anaforce kutengeneza kiki Hususan ya Kumuhusisha “Diamond” ili apate Trends, and we all know he has been trying to do that through social media for a while ila nampotezea, Hivyo jana aliona maybe ndio Golden Chance yake, so he tried to create vitu mbalimbali to get my attention, kulazimisha kuonekana labda anaonewa ama Kadhurumiwa just to get the Public sympathy Trends, na ndiomaana yeye hataji mtu yoyote, kila sentence anataja Diamond tu as if I was the Event Orgerniser… But the Truth is vyote ni vya Uongo!
Kesho nitaweka Official Statement yangu ya Kila kilichotokea hadi kufikia Performance yangu kutofanyika,” Diamond said.

On the other hand, Willy Paul had accused Diamond of sabotage, saying he wanted to perform before him something that had not been put on the schedule.
PRESS STATEMENT: FURAHA CITY SHOW
I want to thank my fans for the incredible turnout and unwavering support during last night’s Furaha City Show. Despite the challenges, your love made the performance worthwhile.
While I prepared tirelessly to deliver the best for my fans, the event was marred by setbacks. My entry was delayed by over two hours, critical provisions agreed upon with the organizers were unavailable or insufficient, and my team, including dancers, faced harassment and mishandling by event security. Despite being a paid performer, my team and I endured unnecessary force and threats.
This experience highlights the ongoing challenges Kenyan artists face in their own country. I urge event organizers and the wider event management fraternity to treat Kenyan artists with the respect they deserve. Artists are key ambassadors of our culture, and fair treatment is essential for the growth of our industry.
To my fans, thank you for standing with me. I remain committed to delivering exceptional performances and advocating for better standards for Kenyan and East African artists. Together, we can elevate our music to the global stage.
