Legendary rapper Collo and celebrated singer Nviiri the Storyteller are set to ignite the second edition of AfroLatin Tamasha this Saturday, 29th November, at REDROOM, Adlife Plaza, Kilimani.
Music lovers will get the rare opportunity to experience Collo performing his new release “Rematch” alongside his timeless hits such as Girl Like You and Floss na Wewe. Nviiri will take the stage with fan-favourites including Pombe Sigara and more.
Adding to the rhythm-filled night is the East African collective Ritmo Connexion—a dynamic blend of artists who specialise in merging Afro-Latin beats into high-energy live performances. The ensemble features talents like Mike Jozee, Sanchez Salvador, Niyo Boi, Shirleen Ishenyi, Keisha Harris, Moses Karanja, and others.

This year’s edition, themed “Celebrating Rhythm, Culture and Connection,” will showcase artistic excellence from eight countries: Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, South Africa, Ghana, France, Tunisia, and Kenya. Also set to perform is the vibrant Malindi-based troupe Kikwetu Dancers.
AfroLatin Tamasha is a Pan-African celebration of the fusion between African and Latin American sounds. The festival brings together over 7,000 dance and music enthusiasts across the region. Attendees can expect an immersive cultural experience blending live music—spanning salsa, kizomba, bachata, semba, and afrobeats—with interactive social dance moments that spotlight top performers from across the continent.
The stage will be further energised by top Nairobi DJs including Jam Mixmaster Dan the DJ and DJ D’Cure, who will keep the dance floor alive with an eclectic mix of Afrobeat, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba, Cha Cha Cha, and Kompa. High-energy Afrobeat dancers will round out the night with visually captivating performances.

Beyond entertainment, AfroLatin Tamasha aims to connect artists and audiences across East and Southern Africa while reinforcing Nairobi as a growing hub for Afro-Latin culture. The festival also champions artistic expression that supports the growth of Kenya’s creative economy, attracting young professionals, creatives, and cultural lovers seeking meaningful experiences rooted in rhythm and wellness.
Founder Robert Munene emphasized:
“AfroLatin Tamasha 2.0 is an essential step towards our larger vision—connecting artists across East and Southern Africa, promoting wellness through dance, and turning rhythm into livelihood. We’ve curated an evening that showcases the vibrant fusion of African and Latin cultures, strengthening Nairobi’s position as a regional hub for this movement.”
He adds:
“This event is about creating more opportunities for our community to connect, celebrate, and embrace the richness of Afro-Latin culture. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or simply curious, we welcome you to join us for an unforgettable evening.”
The event begins at 5:00 p.m., with performances kicking off at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available online.
