Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Burna Boy has announced that he will perform in Kenya on March 1st, 2025.
The Twice as Tall hitmaker used his social media pages to alert his East African fans that he will be in Kenya next year.
Burna’s post posted the concert date plus a short and precise caption, “March 1st, 2025” alongside the Kenyan flag.
The announcement mirrors the other posts he has put to inform his fans worldwide that he will be in their city.
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, the real name, will be returning to Kenya after more than five years.
Burna was last in Kenya in 2019 where he delivered a disappointing performance at NRGWave Festival.

Since then, he has never come back to Kenya despite his now internationally acclaimed status as one of the biggest stars in Africa.
He has sold out some of the biggest venues in different parts of the world and his return to East Africa had been anticipated by many.
Over the year the Nigerian Star has roved to the World why he calls himself the African Giant.
In 2021, Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category at the Grammys.
East Africa Collaborations
In East Africa, Burna Boy has collaborated with Harmonized and Diamond Platnumz on a song called ‘Kainama’.
He has also worked with Sauti Sol on his Album ‘Twice as Tall’ for the Time Flies song and ‘Afrikan Star’.
