Abel Mutua & Judy celebrate daughter Mumbus as she turns 15

Kenyan filmmaker and scriptwriter Abel Mutua and his wife Judy Nyawira are today celebrating their daughter Mumbus who is turning 15 years old.

Mutua took to his socials to poke fun at his daughter while reflecting on how time can fly.

He went on to jokingly remind his daughter that he would have to move out of their house at probably the age of 32 or 35.

Mutua further added that Mumbus will have to get a boyfriend when she turns at least 38.

“15???? Just the other day I WAS 15! Wah! Haidhuru. Happy Birthday Love. Tulisema Unamove out at 32 ama 35? Siko sure sana. Dating ndio nakumbuka Tulisema 38. Wah! Itafika tu saa hii aki,” Abel Mutua said.

Mumbus mother also shared a series of photos from a recent photo shoot their daughter had with a caption that said;

“Mkamba wa Mama turns 15 years old today! 🥳 Thank You, Lord,”.

Several celebrities and fans joined the conversation celebrating Mumbus for turning a year older.

In a previous interview, Abel said that he is happy with having just his 12-year-old daughter because he believes he can fully provide for her on his own.

“For me, I feel like the kind of life I want to give my child, can only be possible if I have one.”

Abel also said that he had a tough time becoming a dad at a young age, which made him decide to have only one child.

Abel Mutua and his wife welcomed their first child Mumbus while still in College at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.

In November 2024, Mutua shared a funny birthday message to his wife Judy Nyawira.

“Happy Birthday Shosho Manyanga!!! This is just a post to remind you that

3. Bars za kujishikilia kwa loo zinachomelewa weekend.

On the other hand, Judy also shared a sweet message with her hubby Mutua.

“Baba Mumbus, you are highly favoured, but more than that, you are also a great dad. The best in the world, happy Father’s Day Baba Mumbus! For 14 years, you’ve done a fantastic job. Mumbus is truly blessed to have you as a father. ❤️,” she wrote.
