The Kenyan entertainment and gospel fraternity is today united in grief and celebration in an ongoing funeral service of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo at Ndumberi Stadium in Kiambu County.

The late musician, known for her soulful voice, inspirational lyrics, and warm spirit, leaves behind a legacy that touched lives across the nation.

Her burial service has drawn an extraordinary lineup of celebrities, public figures, and industry leaders who came to honor her remarkable journey.

Among the dignitaries gracing the solemn event is Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, whose presence underscores the magnitude of Betty Bayo’s impact beyond the entertainment sphere.

Also in attendance is Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, a longtime supporter of local creative arts.

The gospel industry is especially well represented, with some of the biggest names in the country gathering to bid a heartfelt farewell.

Celebrated gospel singers Esther Wahome, Ruth Wangechi, Judy Wairimu, Grace Mwai, Lady Bee, Gloria Muliro, Anastasia Mukabwa, Christine Odhiambo, Solomon Mukubwa, Dada Sarah, Edith Wairimu, Justina Syokau, and Sarah K are all present, offering emotional performances and tributes that reflect the deep bonds they shared with the late singer.
