24/7 Sports Radio Station ‘SportyFM’ Officially Launches In Kenya with Big Names

SportyFM has officially launch in Nairobi (105.0 FM) and Mombasa (107.3 FM) today, Sunday 17th August 2025, just in time to bring live updates of the highly anticipated Premier League game between Manchester United and Arsenal; and marking the arrival of Kenya’s only 24/7 sports radio station.

Led by prominent sports media personality and journalist Carol Radull, SportyFM will be fully live, fully dedicated to sport, and fully unapologetic about it.

Regular programming will kick off on Monday 18th, at 6am, with The Kick Off on SportyFM.

The launch comes off the back of SportyFM’s wildly successful debut in Ghana this past January, where it became an instant hit, breaking audience records and redefining how radio can serve fans.

Now, Sporty Group is bringing that same energy to Kenya, as part of its long-term commitment to transforming how Africa watches, listens to, and lives sport.
